A little bit about Us & the history of K2 Incense
The K2 journey began in 2008 from our Botanical production and research facilities in Los Angeles, California. As a company we had a background of producing traditional incense, as well as cultivating much more standard herbs and plants. However, our main focus was about to change. One late winter evening, our research team stumbled upon the original formula for K2. Despite being very happy with the results, our management team were unsure if marketed, that the product would be a success. Some of our retails buyers (reluctantly) agreed to undertake a sales trial for us. The rest is history, within a week with just the word of mouth recommendations of the customers of those initial buyers; we had interested retail outlets all over the state (outside of our usual market). K2 Standard & Ultra were born, and become available nationwide within a month! We launched our internet supply channels in late 2008 to great success. However, the path of success for a remarkable product like K2 was never going to be simply. Within months we were having complaints and reports of poor quality K2 which were originating from counterfeiting outfits. These outfits were using cheap imported chemical from China to try and replicate the effects of original label K2 incense. Having soon been ignored by savvy retail store owners, these K2 counterfeiters turned their attention to trying to push their dangerous wears on the internet. They also undertook an aggressive smear campaign against our official sites. However the tide soon turned when real K2 incense users started publically naming and shaming sites that they had received sub-par K2 Spice.

Media attention of bad and fake K2 and its side effect soon gathered pace. We have fought tirelessly to be the voice of reason in the debate surrounding K2. We openly welcomed the DEA’s decision to ban many of the substances used in low quality K2 in December 2010. We have also worked tirelessly to track the development of local laws, to ensure that real K2 users remain on the right side of the law > .
Despite all this, K2 Incense as a brand has gone on from strength to strength. We have expanded from 2 blends to 14, providing K2 fans with an amazing selection of relaxing flavours. We have also recently started selling legal spice blends, to meet the demand for those customers who prefer these types of blends but wish to buy from a quality producer like K2 incense. We are also leading the way with research and development into future blends of incense spice under our K2 brand. Recently we have launched K2 Summit 2.0 and K2 Amperage, which are the next generation of legal everywhere incense blends. This new formula still has the great K2 effect, but it now legal for everyone to enjoy.
